Hello!

I'm Yue.

Here's Something About Me

I love learning. 📖

I always love to learn something new! In my spare time, I take online courses from Coursera and Khan Academy. That is actually how I learned to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build this website.

See my progress

I love sharing. 💬

I share my experience studying in Germany, as well as various Master programs information to encourage more Chinese students to go across the border. To know that my experience helps others means a lot to me.

My Timeline

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies

Bachelor in Management, Auditing (09.2012-06.2016)

Guangzhou, China

I had four happy years at GDUFS. It was the place I learned to articulate and present my ideas in public (by doing so many case study and presentation), manage my time, and study hard (and I won a scholarship once).

PwC China

Assurance Intern (01.2015-03.2015)

Guangzhou, China

As a member of PwC's student club, I got the chance to work as Assurance intern during winter vacation in my junior year. My job was performing various audit procedures for non-current assets, and also internal control testing for purchase and payrolls systems.

University of California, Santa Barbara

Exchange Student (03.2015-08.2015)

Santa Barbara, USA

I went to the U.S. as an exchange student in my junior year. The courses I took were Intermediate Accounting I, Advanced Accounting, Auditing, Managerial Accounting etc.

I still miss the weather and scenery there.

W4 city

Marketing & Editorial Intern (04.2016-06.2016)

Guangzhou, China

W4 city was a local media start-up in Guangzhou, dedicated to providing fashionable lifestyle guide to international guests and local citizens. I worked as Marketing & Editorial Intern there to help organize events, translate, edit and update event information on social media, and provide customer services.

Sadly, the company ceased operations in 2016.

Mannheim University

Master Student (09.2017- )

Mannheim, Germany

After one year of intensive German courses, I went to Mannheim University to continue my study. The flexible program design allows me to solidify my accounting knowledge and also explore new fields of study, like information systems and computer science.
